Most video chat apps are designed somewhere else and then translated for India as an afterthought. Titli started the other way round. It is an Indian video chat app made by GenZ Philam Entertainment, a company based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Our support inbox, our rules and our design choices all start from India.
Here is what that means in practice.
Nine languages, chosen on the very first screen
India does not speak one language, so Titli does not either. When you open the app for the first time, before anything else, you choose your language. The app is available in:
| Language | Script |
|---|---|
| English | Latin |
| Hindi | Devanagari |
| Bengali | Bengali |
| Tamil | Tamil |
| Telugu | Telugu |
| Kannada | Kannada |
| Gujarati | Gujarati |
| Urdu | Perso-Arabic |
| Arabic | Arabic |
You can change your language later in settings. The whole app, from the Match button to the report menu, appears in the language you pick. Our Indian languages page has more detail.
One honest note: Titli does not match you by language. The app's menus and screens are in your language, and incoming chat messages can be auto-translated into it. Your conversations are in whatever language you and the other person share, whether that is Hindi, Tamil, Hinglish or a bit of everything. If Hindi is your first choice, our Hindi video chat page walks through using Titli in Hindi.
Coins in rupees, with a familiar checkout
Titli is free to download. Video calls, gifts and some premium features use coins. Coin packs are priced in ₹, and you buy them inside the app with UPI, cards or netbanking through secure payment gateways.
You do not have to buy coins to get started. There is a daily bonus, simple tasks that reward coins, and referral rewards when friends you invite join. Match tickets also give you a free match call for a limited number of seconds.

Community Guidelines written for Indian users
Our Community Guidelines are written in plain language for people in India. They apply to everyone on Titli, in every call, chat and live. They ban nudity and explicit content, harassment, hate, scams, illegal content and anyone under 18.
Titli is for adults only. Every member confirms they are 18 or older at sign-up. You sign in with a phone number (OTP) or a Google account, so accounts are accountable, though your number is never shown to the people you talk to.
The tools that back these rules up include:
- Report and block anyone from their profile or chat.
- Call moderation, where still snapshots taken during video calls may be reviewed for safety, with an on-screen indicator and consent at sign-up.
- Live moderation, where hosts can remove and ban viewers and Titli moderators can end lives and give strikes.
- Face verification, a liveness check (blink, turn, smile) that Titli can require before someone goes live.
The full list is on our safety page.
Indian safety resources, built into our advice
If something serious happens, an app report is only the first step. India has a national system for online crime, and we point people to it.
- cybercrime.gov.in is the Government of India's portal for reporting online crime, including financial fraud, harassment and blackmail.
- 1930 is the national cybercrime helpline. Call it quickly if you have lost money to an online fraud.
Made for Android and Indian mobile data
Titli is an Android app on Google Play, because that is how most of India gets online. It works over Wi-Fi or mobile data. Video naturally uses more data than text, so if you are on a limited daily pack, it helps to know where your data goes. Our guide to video call app data usage has practical tips.
If you prefer to save data, text messages, voice notes and audio rooms are lighter options than a video call.
More than video calls
Being an Indian video chat app is not only about calls. Titli brings several ways to connect into one app:
- Match, for a 1-on-1 random video chat in one tap.
- Live streams, where you can watch hosts, chat, send gifts and ask to join on screen.
- Audio rooms, voice-only party rooms with mic seats.
- Private messages with text, photos, voice notes and gifts.
- A posts feed, followers and levels.
- A Celebrities tab featuring profiles selected by the Titli team.
Titli is a social app for conversation, friendship and getting to know new people. It is listed in the Social category on Google Play, not Dating, though some adults use it for video dating in India.
