Titli
Titli is an Android app for meeting new people and actually talking to them. You can join a 1-on-1 video call, watch a host go live, sit in an audio room or keep a conversation going in private messages. It is made by GenZ Philam Entertainment, a company based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
Titli is the Hindi word for butterfly: light, friendly and always moving on to somewhere new, a bit like a good conversation.
Why Titli exists
Many people in India want to talk to someone new. Some want to practise a language, some have moved to a new city, some are simply bored of scrolling. The options have not always been good. Random chat sites where nobody signs in and nobody is accountable can turn unpleasant very quickly. Many apps also assume everyone wants to talk in English.
We wanted to build something different. Titli lets you meet people in your own language, with rules that are actually enforced. You can use the app in English, Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Gujarati, Urdu or Arabic. Every account is linked to a phone number or Google sign-in, and every user agrees to our Community Guidelines.
What Titli is, and what it is not
Titli is a place for conversation and friendship. Here is what that looks like in practice:
- Match pairs you with an available member for a 1-on-1 video call.
- Live streams let hosts talk to an audience, take guests and receive gifts.
- Audio rooms let people hang out on mic seats without a camera.
- Private messages keep the conversation going after a call.
You can see all of it on our features page.
Titli is listed in the Social category on Google Play, not Dating. It is a live video chat app for meeting new people. Some adults use it for flirting and video dating, getting to know someone face to face on a call, and our dating guides are written for them. We do not promise anyone a partner, explicit content is banned, and our Community Guidelines do not allow asking for or offering money, payment or meetings outside the app. If someone is looking for anything explicit, this is the wrong app for them.
Our principles
Adults only
Titli is only for adults aged 18 and over (see our Terms). Accounts found to belong to anyone under 18 are removed when reported.
Moderation that works in practice
Anyone can block or report another member from their profile or chat. Still snapshots from video calls may be reviewed by moderation for safety, with an on-screen indicator so you always know. Hosts can remove viewers from their lives, and Titli moderators can end lives and give strikes. You can read how it all fits together in our Safety Centre.
Honesty about costs
Titli is free to download, but it is not free to use for everything. Video calls use coins and are billed per minute, and gifts and some features use coins too. VIP is optional. We would rather tell you this up front than surprise you later.
Respect for your privacy
You choose what goes on your profile, and your phone number is not shown to the people you talk to. We explain what we collect, why, and for how long in our Privacy Policy, including how call snapshots are handled. You can deactivate your account in the app at any time, or email us to have your data permanently erased, as explained on the delete account page.
