Anyone searching for a dating app in Delhi knows the geography problem. Delhi NCR is really several cities joined by the Metro and long roads, and the person you click with may live ninety minutes away. That is why a growing number of people in the capital prefer video dating: a real face-to-face conversation on your phone, before anyone spends an evening in traffic.
Here is the honest part first. Titli does not have a city, distance or "nearby" filter. Match connects you with a member of the opposite gender at random, and Explore lets you filter by country only. You will not see a list of people in Lajpat Nagar or Dwarka. You will meet people from all over, and this page explains how to make that work from Delhi.
Titli in plain words
On Google Play, Titli sits in the Social category rather than Dating. It is a live video chat app made in Noida, built for meeting new people, and video dating is one way adults use it: talking on a 1-on-1 video call to see if there is a connection. There are also live streams, audio rooms and private messages. Titli is only for adults aged 18 and over (see our Terms).
Why video first makes sense in NCR
Distance is only part of it. Delhi dating culture has a few habits that video handles well.
You can check the vibe without the commute
In NCR, distance decides a lot about who you can get to know. A ten-minute video call skips that entirely and tells you a lot: how someone listens, whether they laugh at the same things, whether the conversation flows. If it does, you simply call again.
Family homes and shared PGs
Plenty of people in Delhi live with parents, or in a PG with strict rules and thin walls. A video date in a parked car, on a rooftop, or with earphones in at the end of the corridor is a familiar NCR workaround. If you cannot show your room, try an audio room or a private message conversation first.
Winter evenings and smog days
From around November, foggy, cold evenings and poor air quality push a lot of social life indoors. A video date under a razai, with chai, is a perfectly respectable plan in a Delhi winter.
Hindi first, Punjabi on the call
For many Delhiites, conversation flows best in Hindi or Hinglish. Titli's app runs fully in Hindi, as well as English, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Gujarati, Urdu and Arabic. Punjabi is not one of the app's languages, so menus will not be in Punjabi, but nothing stops you from speaking Punjabi with someone who shares it. Urdu is in the app, which some families in the old city will appreciate.
If you want a page just on dating in Hindi, our Hindi dating app guide covers it, including how auto-translation of incoming chat messages helps when the other person writes in another language.
A good first video date, Delhi edition
Small things make a first call easier.
- Pick a time that is actually free. After dinner tends to work better than squeezing a call in between office and the Metro.
- Light your face, not the window behind you. Winter evenings get dark early, so a lamp in front of you makes a big difference.
- Open with something real. "Which Metro line owns your life?" or "Best parantha place you know, and do not say a chain" gets people talking.
- Ask about food and festivals. Delhi people have strong opinions about chole bhature, momos and where to go for Diwali shopping. Let them share.
- End warmly when it is time. "I enjoyed this, let's talk again" is enough. No need to drag it out.

How meeting people works on Titli
There are two main paths.
- Match: press Tap to connect and Titli starts a 1-on-1 video call with a member of the opposite gender who is available. You can add interest filters so matches lean towards shared interests, like cricket, old Hindi songs or travel. Match always connects you with someone of the opposite gender, chosen at random; age and location cannot be filtered.
- Explore: browse profiles in Popular and New, filter by country, search, and call or message someone from their profile.
Match calls are charged per minute in coins to the man. Titli is free to download, and Match tickets give a free match call for a limited number of seconds. If you enjoy talking with someone, follow them and keep the conversation going in private messages.
Safety, especially in a big city
Delhi people are rightly careful, and the same instincts help online.
- Keep your area, office and college to yourself until you truly trust someone.
- Watch for pressure. Someone who rushes you off the app, asks for money or turns flirty talk into something you are uncomfortable with is a red flag. Our online dating red flags post lists the common ones.
- Remember Titli's Community Guidelines do not allow asking for or offering money, payment or meetings outside the app, and they ban explicit content and harassment.
- Any profile or chat has block and report options, and moderators may review still snapshots taken during video calls (an indicator shows on screen when that happens).
Frequently asked questions
Can I meet people only from Delhi or NCR on Titli?
No. Titli cannot narrow people down by city or distance. Match connects you with a random member of the opposite gender, and Explore filters by country, so most people you talk to will be from elsewhere in India or beyond.
Is Titli available in Punjabi?
No. Titli's app languages are English, Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Gujarati, Urdu and Arabic. You can still speak Punjabi on a call.
Is Titli made in Delhi?
Titli is made by GenZ Philam Entertainment, based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, in the NCR.
Do I have to show my face to use Titli?
Video calls are the core of Titli, but you control your mic and camera during a call. Audio rooms and private messages let you talk without video.
How much does a video date on Titli cost?
Each minute of a call costs coins. Downloading Titli costs nothing, and a Match ticket covers a brief free match call.
